What is the difference between a Foley catheter and an intermittent catheter?
A Foley catheter is an indwelling catheter that remains in the bladder, held in place by an inflated balloon. It is used when continuous drainage is needed. An intermittent catheter is inserted to drain the bladder and then removed - suitable for patients who self-catheterize (clean intermittent catheterization, or CIC).
Do you carry one-piece and two-piece ostomy systems?
Yes. We stock both one-piece ostomy pouches (wafer and pouch integrated) and two-piece systems (separate skin barrier and pouch) from Coloplast, Hollister, and ConvaTec in a range of flange sizes.
