Editorial Policy

The Healix Health Journal publishes evidence-informed articles on medicine, dental health, fitness, beauty, and wellness. This page explains how that content is researched, written, sourced, and maintained.

Our editorial mission

We write for healthcare professionals, facility procurement teams, and curious readers who want clear, accurate summaries of health topics. Our goal is to report what the evidence shows — including where it is weak, mixed, or contradicts popular claims — rather than to promote any product or trend.

Sourcing standards

Articles draw on peer-reviewed research, clinical practice guidelines from recognized medical bodies, regulatory publications (FDA, CDC, WHO), and large cohort or randomized controlled trial data. Where we reference specific studies or trials, we identify them by name so readers can locate the primary source. We distinguish between established evidence, emerging research, and hypothesis, and we say so plainly when a popular claim lacks support.

Editorial independence and product links

Healix Medical Supply is a B2B medical supply distributor, and some articles include links to relevant product categories in our catalog. These links are provided for the convenience of healthcare facilities; they do not influence our reporting of the underlying evidence. Where the evidence does not support a product category or intervention, we say so — including for products we sell.

Review and updates

Content is produced and reviewed by the Healix Editorial Team. Each article displays its publication date. When significant new evidence, guideline changes, or regulatory actions affect a published article, we update or retire it. If you spot an error or outdated claim, contact us at our editorial inbox and we will review it promptly.

Corrections policy

When we discover a factual error, we correct the article as soon as practical. Material corrections that change an article’s conclusions are noted in the text. Minor typographical fixes are made without annotation.
